I need to keep in touch with people better - I certifiably miss em, and the photos don’t do em justice. That is, if they’ll take me (back, as I’ve been generally wandering about for a while).
It’d be nice to sing again.
I like vegan donuts. And margaritas with good tequila…
And I get to see Nicole today/tomorrow! eeee!
Still need to call Charles back - keep on meaning to, yet forgetting simultaneously.

Unusually good day for me, other than the constant phone tag with Bonnie :-/
Work was unexpectedly fun - demo’d the Cerberus ticketing thing and people were let loose on it - random shenanigans like creating projects to delegate who should make coffee, who should remind them, and who’s bringing donuts, then I assigned all the tickets to Derek, bwahaha…then Peter learned that he can tell who did that by using the ticket auditing system. So, things being learned. Super cool.
That and the setup we have for building machines is working like a charm - built on a Dell desktop and genericized, and I built a Thinkpad laptop with it flawlessly - about an hour, incl. downloading the image - except for sound card.
Had a croissant and finished some readings, and then went to class where I apparently impressed the presenter with random bits/opinions on community development and so forth, ending up getting an unsolicited business card. super score…
Then back here

…it’s…um…me. You know, that one. Yep, that’s the one.
I’m supposed to provide something witty in an update-to-my-life sort of way.

Well.
That didn’t work so well.
I’ll try harder to get a life/do something interesting. I’m sort of convinced that I *do* do actually interesting things occasionally, but I have to write about em immediately, otherwise I forget.
Random fact: I like drinking large iced mexican mochas with a shot of orange flavoring. They sorta remind me of those hard candies that are imported from the UK that have a orange flavor, but if you bite into them they have a chocolate-flavored middle. Anyone familiar with these?
In addition, getting the drink above hot is about one degree away from foul. For some reason it tastes alcoholic, almost.
Finally, I have a terrible liking of rice krispies treats. I went to a party that had em last night and I must have eaten at least 8, which is about 8 times more than any human being should have. The hostess then sent me home with a ziploc bag of them. I am in heaven - and in hell.

…which is where I still am. Since the woohoo! free credits, etc, I’ve been bumped on two flights - the first due to it being delayed and would have resulted in me being stuck in minneapolis, the second just this morning, where due to icing they only loaded half the passengers on the flight - the rest of the weight went to extra fuel in case of issues. So I will for sure miss all classes today, sigh. And I’m out tonight at 5:30pm and maybe possibly into Seattle around midnight.
Ugh. So tired, as the flight this morning that never was, was at 6:25am.

…and I’m still in Atlanta til 11am tomorrow now This time I got a free flight voucher…class starts on Tues, so it’s cutting it closer now, but hey, this definitely helps with the flights during the rest of the year…
