Fund Peace Corps

Welcome!

The big push is on! Write your letters now!

You're here because you've heard about the current Peace Corps budget shortfall. A quick review: as a result of rising livings costs, the devaluation of the dollar and a continuing funding resolution in Congress, Peace Corps is about $18 million short for current operations. To manage this shortfall, Peace Corps has required a 15% across the board cut to all posts throughout the world.

Current PCVs from all over the world came together to develop this site and its related activities. We feel that we and our friends and family can influence this situation by contacting elected officials to voice our opinion and request that future funding for the Peace Corps is at the levels requested by the President to Congressional leaders.

Using this website, you can contact both your elected officials as well as those Congressional leaders who have the most influence over Peace Corps' funding. To do so we've created a little application to help. Click here to get started.
