recent software upgrade
Testing this new upgrade…wordpress is ok except for the theme, but not sure if livejournal is still cross-posting. We’ll see with this.

internet-y things
So, my convergence of internet thingies is happening more and more…all my email now is routed through gmail, though I haven’t gotten around to importing my old UW emails into it (now that gmail supports imap and all). Duke emails are imported though…and there is so much spam it’s unbelievable.
I’m still using goodreads, despite being sad that it stole my thunder for the php thingy I was writing (though they haven’t done much in the way of personal library/media management like I want to do, nor any sort of ISBN/barcode entry to mass import books…so I have that going for me). Then today on facebook I found out they have an app that links em together, so I am happy. Plus it tells me what other facebook friend people have read recently if they too have goodreads and the facebook app, which expands my circle of book types to…oh, 4.
I also got a friend of mine to start using facebook, which is exciting and silly simultaneously. She’s now industriously stalking past PCVs she has worked with…bwahaha…
More posts as time goes on, as usual…I wrote a letter to the mailing list and it’s tapped all my creativity for now.
